ESMO WCGIC 2023 | What role can AI play in the radiology and imaging in GI oncology?

Benoit Gallix, MD, PhD, American Hospital of Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, discusses the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in gastrointestinal cancers. AI has been used in tumor detection and segmentation, especially in the liver and pancreas. Tumor stratification has also been enhanced with AI, and monitoring for metastasis following treatment has been additionally accomplished with the help of AI. This interview took place at the ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer (WCGIC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
