Melissa Boneta Davis, Phd, Weill Medical College, New York City, NY, discusses enhancing the trajectories of cancer health disparities to improve clinical applications of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. The majority of information regarding cancer has been derived from a predominantly European population which has translated into cancer health disparities, such as with genetic testing being ineffective in certain populations. Dr Davis talks on raising awareness of such issues and expanding racial and ethnic diversity in cancer research. This interview took place at the Molecular Analysis for Precision oncology (MAP) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
