AACR 2023 | Enhancing outcomes in pediatric patients with FPM

Diana Azzam, PhD, Florida International University, Miami, FL, presents findings from a study (NCT03860376) assessing functional precision medicine (FPM) approaches in pediatric patients with a variety of tumor types. 25 patients were enrolled, and FPM resulted in enhanced progression-free survival, demonstrating FPM as a promising strategy to enhance outcomes in this high-risk population. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2023 in Orlando, FL.
