Robert Rutledge, MD, FRCPC, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, discusses the impact of pelvic floor muscle training and survey adherence during the prostate cancer-patient empowerment program (PC-PEP), a progressive program utilising pelvic-floor exercise videos three-times daily and daily reminders over 26 weeks. A randomised trial (NCT03660085) assessed symptoms pre- and post-treatment, correlating improvements in all urinary symptoms after radiation or surgery, and a high percentage of participants were compliant throughout the 6-month period. This interview took place at the 2025 European Association of Urology (EAU) Congress in Madrid, Spain.
