Nelson Dusetti, PhD, Cancer Research Centre of Marseille, Marseille, France, provides an overview of the development of an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted transcriptomic signature to personalize adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Due to the heterogenous nature of pancreatic cancer, the molecular characteristics are often not taken into account in decision making. The newly created transcriptomic signature will subsequently be validated in a cohort of patients randomized to receive either gemcitabine or FOLFIRINOX. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
