UKONS 2023 | CASCADE: standardizing competence assessment documents in the UK

Gina Madera, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK, discusses the development of the Creation of Acute oncology Standardized Competence Assessment Documents and their Evaluation (CASCADE) project, which aims to provide standardized acute oncology education in the UK. Four levels of expertise will be examined for a healthcare professionals across different clinical settings. The second part of the project will include a pilot rollout plan, with the findings being discussed in the near future. This interview took place at UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) Annual Conference 2023 in Newport, UK.
