ASCO 2023 | Challenges in implementing genomic testing for metastatic colorectal cancer

Olatunji Alese, MD, Emory Winship Cancer Institute, Atlanta, GA, comments on remaining issues surrounding genomic testing for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, including awareness amongst clinicians. In other cancers such as breast cancer, genomic profiling happens once a patient is diagnosed, enabling clinicians to make informed decisions regarding treatment.
