Nina Fuller Shavel, MA Hons (Cantab), MBBChir, British Society for Integrative Oncology, explains the patient-centered approach of integrative oncology and discusses the use of non-pharmacological strategies to minimise side effects and optimise clinical outcomes. Dr Fuller Shavel also discusses the importance of supporting both patients and their family members.
