WCLC 2023 | Highlights in SCLC at WCLC 2023

Misty Shields, MD, PhD, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, shares her highlights on the latest small cell lung cancer (SCLC) advancements presented at the 2023 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in Singapore, Singapore. Recent investigations are focused on preventing relapse, improving the quality of life of patients, and prolonging patient survival in SCLC. In addition, new data has been published pertaining to immunotherapy, predictive biomarkers, and trial design based on neuroendocrine subtyping. Dr Shields also discusses the importance of liquid biopsies in maximising patient information and improving long term outcomes for SCLC. This interview took place at the 2023 WCLC in Singapore, Singapore.
