Robert Rutledge, MD, FRCPC, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, discusses the emergence of the prostate cancer-patient empowerment program (PC-PEP) into routine prostate cancer care. The program has produced improvements in health outcome and patient proactivity, and a Phase IV implementation trial (NCT03660085) could allow its integration into standard care. This interview took place at the 2025 European Association of Urology (EAU) Congress in Madrid, Spain.
