ASTRO 2022 | The use of single-fraction SBRT versus multi-fraction SBRT for lung cancers and metastases

Kevin Stephans, MD, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, compares the use of single-fraction stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) to multi-fraction SBRT for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It was found that the use of single-fraction or multi-fraction SBRT has no difference in the effect on tumour control, quality of life, or toxicity. This interview took place at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) 2022 Congress in San Antonio, Tx.
