CAR T-cells are an exciting therapeutic area, which although promising are still in the early stages of development for solid malignancies. Speaking from the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference 2018, held in Dublin, Ireland, Alastair Greystoke, PhD, of the University of Newcastle & Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Newcastle, UK, discusses this area.
