ASCO 2022 | Narrower side margin excision for head and neck BCC in the Japanese population

Current strategies in head and neck basal cell carcinoma (BCC) are based on studies in the Caucasian population, with BCCs mostly arising as non-pigmented lesions and/or with poorly defined clinical borders. In this interview, Yasuhiro Nakamura, MD, PhD, Saitama Medical University International Medical Center, Saitama, Japan, discusses an ongoing study evaluating narrower side margin excision for Japanese patients with head and neck basal cell carcinoma.
