APCCC 2024 | Management of prostate cancer from the patient perspective

David Matheson, PhD, University of Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton, UK, details the experience of being treated with prostate cancer as a patient who has relapsed twice. The quality of life questionnaires were found to be inadequate in terms of how it affected him overall, and clinicians need to pay attention to the concerns and needs of patients. Dr Matheson, thus, calls for more impactful quality of life measures that accurately assess the wellbeing of patients. This interview took place at the 2024 Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) in Lugano, Switzerland.
