ASCO 2025 | How will ctDNA and liquid biopsies be utilized in gynecological cancers?

Jyoti Mayadev, MD, University of California San Diego Medical Center, San Diego, CA, discusses the emerging developments in liquid biopsies and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the management of gynecological cancers. Findings of the CALLA trial (NCT03830866), showed that ctDNA is an effective indicator of treatment response in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer. This interview took place at the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Chicago, IL.
