ESMO 2024 | Treating cyclin E1 overexpressing/CCNE1-amplified cancers with INCB123667

Matteo Simonelli, MD, IRCCS Istiuto Nazionale Tumori Regina Elena (IRE), Rome, Italy, comments on the promising results of INCB123667 in cyclin E1 overexpressing and CCNE1 amplified solid tumors, especially in ovarian cancer. There is strong rationale for continued development of INCB123667, especially given its preliminary efficacy as a monotherapy in a Phase I trial (NCT05238922). Future plans include combination therapies with other anticancer agents, emphasizing the potential of this drug in specific cancer settings. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
