Jacob Scott, MD, DPhil, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, discusses a genome adjusted radiation dose (GARD), a novel algorithm to personalize prescription of radiation dose on the basis of the biological effect of a given physical dose of radiation, calculated using individual tumour genomics. This interview took place at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) 2022 Congress in San Antonio, Tx.
