EAU 2021 | miR-371a-3p microRNA panel alone is sufficient for diagnosis and monitoring

Matthew Murray, MB, BChir, PhD, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK, gives an overview of a study analyzing the four available circulating microRNA panels for the diagnosis of testicular germ cell tumors. Dr Murray reports that the miR-371a-3p panel was sufficient for diagnosis and monitoring, and comments on the implications of this finding for clinical practice.
