Thierry Alcindor, MD, MSc, McGill University Health Centre, Montreal, Canada, discusses the disparities that exist across patients with sarcoma in North America, highlighting the expert care that is required for the management of sarcoma, and how disparities disproportionately affect patients with sarcoma who belong to ethnic minority groups. Currently, Dr Alcindor and associates are in the process of creating equal opportunities for all patients with sarcoma so that they can receive appropriate treatment.
