Joseph Herman, MD, MSc, MHCM, Northwell Health Cancer Institute, New Hyde Park, NY, explains the importance of involving a multidisciplinary team when discussing the optimal treatment plan for patients with borderline-resectable pancreatic cancer. Dr Herman highlights the advantages of discussing each patient with a tumor board, in order to get input from oncologists, radiologists, and surgeons on what the best treatment plan is for each individual patient. This interview took place at the Great Debates and Updates GI Malignancies Debate in Chicago, IL.
