Tanja Spanic, PhD, Europa Donna Slovenia, Ljubljana, Slovenia, discusses the necessity of patient perspectives in clinical trials. Real-world data is critical in informing trial design to incorporate acute and late side-effects and long-term treatment findings. Since patient experience directly impacts compliance, including patient voice in early trial design is critical to reducing recurrence. This interview took place at the 2025 St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Consensus Meeting in Vienna, Austria.
