ASCO 2024 | Insights from the PALMARES-2 study on genomic data in CDK4/6 inhibitor selection

Claudio Vernieri, MD, PhD, Institut National Du Cancer, Milan, Italy, discusses the PALMARES-2 study, focusing on the collection and analysis of genomic alterations in tumors. While the initial analysis lacked sufficient genomic data for inclusion in multivariable models, ongoing data collection aims to incorporate these genomic characteristics in future analyses. Anticipated updates within the next year are expected to address genomic factors in CDK4/6 inhibitor selection. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
