ANZUP 2023 | Can the ANZUP surveillance recommendations detect relapse in testicular cancer?

Ciara Conduit, FRACP, MBBS, PGCert MEd, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia, talks on the utility of Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate (ANZUP) Cancer Trials Group surveillance recommendations to assess patterns of relapse in Australian patients with testicular cancer. In a real-world setting, patients who relapsed and asymptomatic were successfully detected in a timely manner. Additional research is needed to evaluate changes in serum tumor biomarkers. This interview took place at the ANZUP annual scientific meeting in Melbourne, Australia.
