Zhaoyun Liu, MD, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital, Tianjin, China, comments on developments in managing cancer patients in rural China. Difficulties in administering and standardizing treatments have previously hindered clinicians in this setting, but earlier screening and increased genetic screening will hopefully provide relief to patients. This interview took place at the 2025 Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) Science & Technology Award Talks in Kunming, China.
