GU Cancers 2024 | How can regular exercise benefit patients with cancer?

Jorma Sormunen, MD, PhD, MBA, University of Tampere, Tampere, Finland, discusses the benefits of exercise in improving outcomes in cancer. Recommending exercise routines to patients can be done across different tumor types, and can be easily and cheapy implemented. Exercise can also improve treatment outcomes, especially in a low oxygen, high lipid tumor microenvironment. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2024 in San Francisco, CA.
