Howard West, MD, City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, Duarte, CA, shares his highlights from the IASLC 2022 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress, including being able to interact with colleagues face-to-face, as well as exciting content on early-stage lung patients with the treatment of adjuvant atezolizumab. Additionally, Dr West spotlights a plenary session on oligometastatic disease which highlighted implications on how local therapies should be utilized and the evolving idea of how advanced disease is defined beyond a binary definition.
