ESMO 2022 | Uses of radiotherapy for small cell lung cancer

Bjorn Henning Gronberg, MD, PhD, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, discusses the variety of uses of radiotherapy for patients with small cell lung cancer, and explains a selection of clinical trials investigating the best dosage and treatment schedule of radiotherapy for these patients. Prof. Gronberg also discusses the role of prophylactic cranial irradiation (PCI) in comparison to MRI surveillance. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2022 Congress in Paris, France.
