Steroids may have adverse effects in patients, and recent research detailing the link between neurons and tumor growth may provide a novel target for researchers. The role of macrophages is additionally being investigated, potentially leading to novel cellular therapies such as CAR-M cells. This interview took place at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2023 in Lugano, Switzerland.
