ASCO 2024 | Implementing precision oncology in pancreatic cancer

Nelson Dusetti, PhD, Cancer Research Centre of Marseille, Marseille, France, shares remaining challenges in the implementation of precision medicine approaches for patients with pancreatic cancer. The heterogeneity between tumors and within each tumor presents challenges in identifying effective treatments. Artificial intelligence, single-cell analysis, transcriptomic, and molecular analysis are key tools in understanding intratumoral heterogeneity. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
