WCLC 2024 | Impact of prior immunotherapy on hepatotoxicity with KRAS G12C inhibitors

Amit Kulkarni, MBBS, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, discusses the toxicities linked to prior immunotherapy before initiating KRAS G12C inhibitors. Immunotherapy administered within three months of starting KRAS G12C inhibitors significantly increased the risk of hepatotoxicity, particularly elevated AST and ALT levels. In contrast, patients who had not received immunotherapy or those treated with immunotherapy more than three months prior to the first dose of KRAS G12C inhibitors exhibited a markedly lower risk of hepatotoxicity. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
