Ricardo Sales dos Santos, MD, PhD, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, São Paulo, Brazil, gives an overview of mobile CT scanning practices for lung cancer in Brazil, which benefit people in more rural areas. The mobile fleet typically arrives in town squares or to individual’s houses and can minimize transportation costs for patients, as well as boost awareness amongst the population. Prof. Santos additionally highlights the role of health community agents in Brazil. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
