Piotr Rutkowski, MD, PhD, Maria Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Centre and Institute of Oncology, Warsaw, Poland, gives an overview of the Phase II AXAGIST trial (NCT04258956), which assessed avelumab and axitinib in patients with unresectable/metastatic gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) after standard therapy failure. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
