Maria Vieito, MD, Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology, Barcelona, Spain, explores results from the Phase II FIRELIGHT-1 study (NCT04985604) of tovorafenib, a CNS-penetrant RAF inhibitor, in refractory melanoma and solid tumors with RAF fusions or RAF1 amplification. Tovorafenib demonstrated promising activity in melanoma, as well as in other solid tumors. Common adverse events included anemia, increased CPK, pruritus, and rash. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
