She emphasizes performing retrospective analyses and implementing sex as a pre-specified subgroup analysis in future clinical trials. Prospective clinical data, including pharmaceutical drug monitoring, are essential to determine whether male and female patients should be treated differently. It is also important to incorporate gender analysis into clinical trials using tools like quality of life questionnaires to better understand the impact on patients.
