ESMO 2024 | Bladder cancer at ESMO 2024: SunRISe-4, TOMBOLA and NIAGARA

Key studies include the SunRISe-4 trial (NCT04919512), which investigated TAR-200 with gemcitabine and cetrelimab, and the TOMBOLA trial (NCT04138628), which evaluated the role of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in predicting recurrence post-cystectomy. The NIAGARA trial (NCT03732677), involving cisplatin-gemcitabine plus durvalumab, demonstrated positive outcomes in event-free, progression-free, and overall survival, suggesting a potential new standard of care.
