ESMO 2024 | Insights from SEQTOR trial on treatment sequencing for advanced panNETs

Ramon Salazar, MD, PhD, Institut Català D’Oncologia, Barcelona, Spain, explores findings from the SEQTOR trial (NCT02246127), which evaluated optimal sequencing in advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (panNET). The emerging role of radionuclides, alongside chemotherapy, everolimus, and sunitinib, introduces additional options to improve outcomes. The trial overall aims to refine treatment decisions and balance therapeutic strategies for long-term management of panNET. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
