Gino In, MD, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, expresses his enthusiasm for the future of oncolytic immunotherapies that can provide safer and direct delivery of treatment to the tumor microenvironment in patients. Further research and development can enhance the potency of oncolytic viruses to tackle more diverse and resistant tumors in melanoma and improve patient response to treatment. This interview took place at the 21st International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR) in New Orleans, LA.
