Bladder Cancer Genitourinary Cancer Urothelial Carcinoma Gemcitabine ST-02

Marie-Pier St-Laurent, MD, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, explores the Phase II/III trial (NCT06124976) investigating ST-02, a novel mucoadhesive gemcitabine suspension, for low-grade upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC). The study aims to assess the efficacy and safety of ST-02 while preserving renal function. Patients will receive weekly intraluminal instillations for six weeks, with response evaluated by ureteroscopy. Primary endpoints include complete response rate, durability at 12 months, and safety outcomes. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
