GU Cancers 2025 | Real-world outcomes in Germany of EV and pembrolizumab in mUC

Stefanie Zschaebitz, MD, Heidelberg University Hospital, Heidelberg, Germany, gives an overview the results of a retrospective analysis (GUARDIANS) of enfortumab vedotin (EV) plus pembrolizumab in German patients with metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC). The analysis found promising efficacy with a high overall response rate and a median progression-free survival of around 13 months. Safety data indicated manageable adverse events, with no new safety concerns, supporting the combination strategy as an effective first-line treatment for mUC. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
