Bjorn Henning Gronberg, MD, PhD, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, discusses the nutritional status of patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer (LS-SCLC), stating that poor nutritional status is not a contraindication to concurrent chemoradiotherapy, and that patients with poor nutritional status can still tolerate and benefit from standard treatment. Weight loss in itself does not appear to have a negative impact on prognosis, and that patients with a history of weight loss before diagnosis should also be offered concurrent chemoradiotherapy. This interview took place at the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC) 2025 in Paris, France.
