Ludovica Cella, MD, Humanitas University, Milan, Italy, discusses findings from a study assessing the prognostic performance of a four-tier hybrid grading system in Ta non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). By integrating elements of the WHO 1973 and 2004 classifications, this hybrid approach demonstrated enhanced ability to differentiate patient outcomes related to disease progression and recurrence. These findings support its value in improving diagnostic clarity and informing tailored management strategies in NMIBC. This interview took place at the 2025 European Association of Urology (EAU) Congress in Madrid, Spain.
