Evangelia Razis, MD, PhD, Hygeia Hospital, Marousi, Greece, provides an overview of current research directions in leptomeningeal disease (LMD) in breast cancer. She highlights efforts focused on understanding disease biology, improving therapeutic delivery to the meningeal space, exploring novel radiotherapy approaches such as proton therapy, and developing cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)-based diagnostic techniques.
