Jason Luke, MD, FACP, FASCO, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, describes the Phase II/III TeLuRide-006 trial (NCT06697301) of EIK1001, a toll-like receptor 7/8 agonist, with pembrolizumab as first-line therapy for advanced melanoma. The study evaluates efficacy, safety, and optimal dosing, with primary endpoints including progression-free and overall survival. EIK1001 aims to enhance antitumor T-cell activity beyond checkpoint inhibition, addressing the ongoing need for improved outcomes in this setting. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
