Antonio Marra, MD, European Institute of Oncology IRCCS, Milan, Italy, discusses the influence of germline BRCA1/2 variants on outcomes in patients with HR+/HER2- early breast cancer, based on a large cohort study. The analysis highlights limited current eligibility for adjuvant targeted therapies in this population, suggesting the need for expanded treatment strategies tailored to genetic risk profiles. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
