Jyoti Mayadev, MD, University of California San Diego Medical Center, San Diego, CA, shares her insights into the future implementation of ultrasensitive circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis as a tool for biomarker detection in locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC). While the technique shows promise for prognostic and predictive use in informing treatment personalization, its integration into clinical practice and trials remains an ongoing area of development.
