ESMO 2025 | INTEGRATE IIb: regorafenib plus nivolumab in advanced gastric cancer

David Goldstein, MBBS, FRACP, PRCP, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, discusses the Phase III INTEGRATE IIb trial (NCT04879368) of regorafenib and nivolumab versus investigator’s choice of chemotherapy in previously treated advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer. While overall and progression-free survival were similar between groups, the combination showed higher response and disease control rates and improved quality-of-life outcomes. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
