ESMO 2025 | PSMAddition: 177Lu-PSMA-617 plus ADT and ARPI in PSMA-positive mHSPC

Scott Tagawa, MD, MS, FACP, Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York, NY, discusses the Phase III PSMAddition trial (NCT04720157), which evaluated [177Lu]Lu-PSMA-617 in combination with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and an androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) in patients with PSMA-positive metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. The addition of 177Lu-PSMA-617 significantly improved radiographic progression-free survival, with a favorable trend in overall survival, manageable safety profile, and no meaningful impact on quality of life. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
