Dickon Hayne, MBBS, MD, FRCS, FRACS, UWA Medical School, Perth, Australia, discusses the ZiPUP study (NCT05046665), a new PET scan using zirconium girentuximab, for staging urothelial cancer. Dr Hayne highlights that while the study showed zirconium girentuximab to be safe and feasible, FDG PET was better at identifying metastatic sites, although zirconium girentuximab may have potential as a theranostic agent. This interview took place at the 41st Annual EAU Congress in London, UK.
