Naomi Kiyota, MD, Kobe University Hospital, Kobe, Japan, discusses findings from PRO-MOTE (NCT05931445), a multicenter open-label randomized trial evaluating electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) monitoring in Japanese patients with advanced solid tumors receiving systemic therapy. Despite high questionnaire completion rates, ePRO monitoring did not demonstrate superiority over usual care for global health status or overall survival.
