WCLC 2026 | TROP2 protein and RNA expression in NSCLC tissue

Jessy Deshane, PhD, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, AL, explores findings from a paired spatial transcriptomic and proteomic mapping study examining TROP2 expression in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissue. TROP2 protein and RNA were found to be discordant, and TROP2-high tumors were found to have low immune checkpoint expression, which could be used to inform use of TROP2-targeting antibody-drug conjugates. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
